Mogadishu Somalia-The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hamza Abdi Barre, has made significant changes to the country’s Cabinet. In a decree issued today, the Prime Minister appointed Mr. Dahir Shire Mohamed as the new Minister of Petroleum and Minerals.
Additionally, there were key reshuffles in other ministries. Ms. Khadija Al-Maqsoumi has been appointed as the Minister of Family and Human Rights, while Mr. Bashir Mohamed Jama, also known as Bashiir Goobbe, will take on the role of Minister of Environment and Climate Change.
Prime Minister Barre also appointed Mr. Osman Ahmed Macow as the Deputy Minister of Energy and Water. These appointments and changes are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the government’s leadership and improve service delivery across various sectors.
These new appointments come at a time of continued efforts to address key national issues including economic development, human rights, and environmental challenge
